Acre Invest
Maris Meadows

Maris Meadows is a development of 5 new luxury homes on the outskirts of Harpenden. This new development consists of 3 stunning terraced homes and 2 barn conversions. This was our first Construction project and it's been amazing to see the homes progress.

We were contacted by Acre Invest in the beginning of 2020 with interest for us to capture the progression of the builds for their social media platforms and website, to show investors the value of their projects and to build their brand online.

We have been capturing site update cinematic marketing videos for them, along with site update photographs, throughout the project. Below, you can see exterior and interior CGI designs of the properties, by Archilime Visualisations, followed by site update videos showing the progression of the site, and aerial photographs which we have been producing.

Visit 1

We first visited this site on the 5th of May 2020 to capture the groundworks filled with concrete, ready for the bases of the homes to go into place. See below the first images we captured of the site for our client, followed by a short video we produced with the footage captured, for their social media platforms.

In this video, you can see the concrete-filled groundworks of the site, before the teams begin to lay the foundations for the homes. We produced this video for Acre Invest to feature on their social media platforms as an introduction to viewers for the future content that was to come at the site.

This video was fantastic for increasing viewer engagement and excitement for the content they would be beginning to put out at the site. It also looks amazing on their website where it showcases the beginning of the build!

Visit 7

By visit 7, The 3 Homes had been constructed to where the oak frames were in place. We visited the site during visit 6 to capture the oak frame pieces being craned into place, and this 7th visit was our follow-up to capture the ground floor complete.

See below photographs from site visit number 7, with the ground floor complete, and photographs we captured from the previous visit - of the pieces being craned in.

In this site update cinematic, you can see the oak frames complete for the ground floor of The 3 Homes. We produced this site update video as an engaging piece of marketing content for Acre Invest to feature on their social media platforms, showcasing an update to the site to viewers.

This video is also added to their online portfolio, where customers can see what they do, and the value they provide, with footage shot in Ultra HD 4K resolution for the best visual experience.

Visit 8 brought us to capturing the oak trusses going onto the homes, which we captured from the skies! In the images below, you can see the crane lifting the trusses to the roof of the homes, where the teams were fixing them into place and securing ready for visit 9 - capturing completion.

In this fantastic video, you can see the teams craning the roof trusses up to the top floor of the homes, ready to be fixed to the support beams by the rest of the team.

This site update cinematic is one of our personal favourites, with our diverse shots working really well with the movement of the crane and close-ups of teams fixing the trusses to the roof. This site update cinematic came out really great, and customers on social media agreed too - with engagement being high for this update.

Visit 9

For visit 9, we went back to the site to capture a site update photograph that Acre Invest featured on their social media platforms as marketing content to update viewers to the change at the site and completion of the roof trusses. Below, you can see one of the marketing photographs we captured.

Visit 8

For this visit we didn't produce a site update cinematic as the purpose of our visit was to solely capture update photographs of the site and capture footage for the overall timelapse cinematic marketing video we would be producing at the end of the construction process.

On the left, we have featured a clip of one of the shots we captured during this visit.

Visit 12

Visit 12 brought us to capturing the felt and battens going onto the homes. Our team loved this footage as the sun was setting across the site during the visit, which reflected really nicely off the homes and made for some amazing photographs and video footage! Each photograph we capture can be used as a separate piece of marketing content, providing different value each time, so we always ensure we capture as many photographs as possible on-site, to optimise your social media engagement, reach and feed interest when prospective customers are browsing through your work! These shots made for fantastic content for Acre Invest!

See this visit's site update cinematic marketing video on the right, which showcases the felt and battens having begun to go onto the homes.

We captured footage showcasing up-close shots of the felt and battens, as well as wider shots of the site as a whole and how this stage of the build looks.

These shots came out amazingly and we, as well as our client, couldn't be happier. Take a look!

Visit 13

For visit 13, Acre Invest requested we visited the site to capture the felt and battens in its last stages of completion, and the roof tiling just beginning. Communication is imperative when working on construction projects. We need to know what changes have happened and when, so we can plan our next visit. For this project, we have been in constant communication with the Site Manager at this site so that we know exactly which changes happen when, and when we should next visit the site. This visit is a great example of where great communication comes into place, and we love the footage captured!

Check out the site update cinematic we produced from this visit!

We've showcased the felt and battens completed on the homes as well as the tiling process beginning. We've included capturing top down shots, close ups of the teams finishing elements of the felt and battens, as well as the tilers beginning their work and how the homes look from afar.

Diverse footage is great for creating engaging content and wanting customers to stay. Site updates like this show prospective customers the value Acre Invest provide, and whey they should choose them over other companies!

Visit 14

Visit 14 was another visit to capture a set of site update images for Acre Invest's social media platforms, portfolio gallery, and website. We were asked to visit the site to capture the tiling almost complete on home 3, as well as capture video of the changes for the overall timelapse cinematic we are producing (see the bottom of this page for the current video we have produced).

Although we haven't produced a site update from this visit, see a short compilation of clips we have put together with music to showcase the changes that occurred from our last visit.

Visit 15

Visit 15 was a huge milestone for the site, Acre Invest, as well as for us capturing the progression. This visit saw the construction of Barn A

beginning and was a very important change to capture. We captured lots of video footage from this visit so that Acre Invest could release phase 2 of their marketing content: Bylands Barn.

See here on the left the marketing video we produced for Acre Invest to introduce the construction of Bylands Barn.

This video was used by Acre Invest as an introduction of the construction of Bylands Barn, to further create excitement and engagement on their social media for the prospective customers viewing.

Throughout this visit, we also captured footage of The 3 Homes for our overall timelapse marketing cinematic being produced, and photographs that Acre Invest posted for updates to this current build.

Visit 16

Visit 16 saw us visit the site to capture the complete roof of The 3 Homes. We also captured footage of the foundation walls of Bylands Barn, for the overall timelapse-style cinematic marketing video we will be producing of this home, and that Acre Invest can feature on their website, too.

See the site update video we produced from this visit to showcase the beautiful roof completed for The 3 Homes, on the right.

Visit 17

For visit 17, we returned to capture the cladding beams going onto The 3 Homes, as well as the scaffolding support going up where the Barn will be, ready for the oak beams to be put into place for the general structure of the home.

On the left, see the site update marketing video we produced from this visit. We wanted to show the cladding beams on The 3 Homes beginning to go into place and also included ground-filming footage to further show this!

Mixing the ground-filming footage with the aerials was a great way for us to showcase this process beginning, and capture the team hard at work, from the ground.

Visit 18

For visit 18, we returned to the site to capture the oak frame beams in place for Acre Invest's Bylands Barn. This incredible home sits low into the earth, with high ceilings and large, open windows - allowing for maximum sunlight and beautiful views of the countryside around. Below, you will see the photographs we captured from this visit as well as a 60 second cinematic marketing video we produced to showcase this stunning change to the site and sheer scale of the home.
